Founder, Principal Consultant & Owner
Caroline is a Dutch-American seasoned professional with over 20 years of global Human Resource Management expertise. She has worked and lived on three continents, traveled all over the world and speaks four languages. She is currently based in Colorado. Caroline is passionate about her work and her clients and is always focused on making the difference where it matters.
Caroline has an outstanding track record in the corporate world as a global HR executive and an instrumental member of leadership and management teams, and has extensive experience as an independent consultant. Her ability to combine business acumen and sound human resource practice is unparalleled. She understands the impact on people and culture and how creative, innovative, agile and aligned HR programs and operational processes can drive strategy execution and business results. She is an experienced team builder, coach, trainer and facilitator.
After an extensive global corporate career in the technology industry, Caroline decided in 2009 to found OQ Consulting to focus on what she loves to do and share her expertise with other companies and leaders; to help them and their organizations be more efficient, effective and successful. In 2018, she joined her client, NTT's Cloud Infrastructure Services, to rebuild the business from the ground up, and decided in 2020 to resume her work with OQ Consulting. She enjoys thinking out of the box and come up with innovative and creative solutions to drive change and results.
Caroline is on the Advisory Board of SKAEL (www.skael.com). She is certified in the Burke Learning Agility suite of assessments and has experience with personality, motivation, and Emotional Intelligence assessments. She is a certified member of the Society of Human Resources Management and was a faculty member at the ABA Stonier Graduate School for Bankers from 2013-2016.
She holds the following degrees: Master of Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University (MLHR); Post-Graduate degree in International Business from the University of Amsterdam (ASIR); Master of French Literature from the University of Amsterdam (MA).
